It is with great pleasure that we can now announce our new Buddy Scheme Café at The Synergy Centre!

We have teamed up with the new Synergy Centre, a new community arts venue in the centre of Brighton to bring you a fortnightly Buddy Scheme Café. We’re very excited to be supporting such a positive, socially inclusive and environmentally friendly organisation that we have decided to kick off with a Buddy Scheme Café Launch Party on Thursday 24th September from 5pm to celebrate. There will be live bands, ‘stick it on’, free nibbles and best of all, it is completely free, so why not bring your buddies along and support this great community project?

The regular Buddy Scheme Café will start on Thursday 1st October from 3pm – 5pm, and will run fortnightly until the end of term. The café provides you and your buddies with a regular safe space to meet, gets you off campus and into Brighton, while supporting your local community. We will be running different activities at the café, such as crafts and playing cards. We will also be inviting Students’ Union Societies to get in involved and run activities for you to have a go at something new with your buddy. The café is a great space for you to meet other people on the scheme and make new friends, or to arrange to meet your buddy for afternoon tea.
