Language Cafe

Got a fancy for French? An angling for Arabic? How about an excitement for English? At the Language Cafe, you can learn all these and more!

The Language Cafe is a social space for language learning and cultural exchange. Learners are guided by volunteers who are native speakers, and their expertise and friendliness helps make the cafe a welcoming, engaging space that fosters community! Student leaders plan and lead activities, with native volunteers guiding their table groups through the activity, providing a friendly face as well as linguistic support.

All ability levels are welcome, from absolute beginner to advanced. We have core 8 languages that are offered (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Mandarin and Japanese), with the possibility to add more according to demand.
