On the 3rd December we held the BIG FAT CHRISTMAS QUIZ of the YEAR! Hosted by the lovely Marc from Active US, 3 teams battled it out for the prize of Sussex Hoodies from the Union shop. After answering some (slightly difficult!) Christmas food questions, we invited the amazing Ukulele Society to join us for the next round. The Ukulele Society played the intro for 5 different songs which our teams then had to guess. Big thanks to the Ukulele guys for being so great and we really enjoyed listening to them play! The next round was Active US themed where the teams had to try to throw as many frisbees as they could into a crate- it was much more difficult than it sounds! It reached a tie break so the battle continued and frisbees were flying everywhere! The following round consisted of Marc reading song lyrics and the teams having to guess the song. Team “Wine” were very good at this round, getting them all correct. Throughout the quiz each team had some playdough and were asked to make a Christmas scene. At the end we checked out their creative work which consisted of Evil Santa, an Ice rink scene, and Grinch Christmas. Congrats to Team “2” who were the overall winners 🙂 Hope those Sussex Hoodies keep you warm this winter! … and Big thanks to Marc for being a great Quizmaster!
