On 12th November the Buddy Scheme, International Students’ Society and the International Student Support Team put on an International Food Party in Lancaster Common Room. Students brought dishes from all over the world to share including Apple yogurt pie from Latvia, Fairy bread from Australia, Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches from the USA, Apple pie from the UK and Okonomi yaki from Japan. There was a wide great variety of dishes which were very tasty! The International Food Party is a great way of sharing treats from different countries, meeting new people from all over the world and celebrating the diversity of cultures that we have on campus. Thanks to everyone who came along and brought a dish!
