Volunteering

New students arriving in September will need you more than ever. University life is likely to be very different from normal, and the Buddy Scheme is still here to support all students and we need your help!

Given the current situation, your experiences will be invaluable to new students! By signing up to be a Buddy you will help new students to adjust into life at University and Brighton.

Here are the reasons you should become a Buddy and be a part of it:

🤝 Share your experiences, they will be invaluable in helping new students become familiar with uni life at Sussex.

🤝 Support others, new students arriving in September will need your support more than ever.

🤝 Make new connections, build your network and create new friendships.

🤝 Make a difference by helping new students to feel welcome and at home.

🤝 Gain valuable transferable skills and knowledge to improve your CV.

Given the current situation, the Buddy Volunteer role is likely to take on more virtual aspects of support until a time when it is appropriate to meet.
